Vauxhall Antara 59 plate - Alarm system on Vauxhall Antara. - biggrin

Alarm keeps going off, even when I lock the car via the drivers door, not using the fob. I have been told that the alarm system runs off it own battery. If this is so I would appreciate any advice as to how I can disconnect without having to pull fuses, which could possibly cause more problems. Thanks in advance. Drifter

Very likely to be the internal battery of the power sounder failure. Could be located under the battery support tray . Just disconnect it and remove it from the car .

Whilst in no way detracting from Doc's very-likely-right answer, this used to happen in my old car. It was spiders walking in front of the sensor...
