Just got my documents after renewal (email now rather than post) and the old "pay and claim" system is no more.

"With immediate effect you are no longer required to pay for the breakdown assistance services provided by this policy and then reclaim them from AutoAid. "

Well timed post that, as my renewal notice from Autoaid has just appeared.

Looks good, think i'll just confirm with them by email that our older cars are still covered and that my full size 4x4 is also covered, neither are listed in exclusions but would like those confirming.

Its a few years since I had a policy with them, but I remember reading some reports where call outs had not been charged as the garage had an arrangement with Autoaid to be paid directly.

Coo, quick reply from Autoaid.

Confirmed no age limit on car, and they are quite happy with the Landcruiser.
