  This RHD 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S Ponton spend most of its life in the relatively dry climate of Victoria, Australia where it was retro-fitted with contemporary airconditioning. It was not shipped to the UK until 2015 so, while the paint bears a few imperfections, there is none of the usual rot. Happily, the interior woodwork has not de-laminated and the velour upholtery is in excellent condition. This fine car is estimated at a sensible £14,000 to £18,000.
