  I have a Peugeot 306 HDi 1999-reg with a 30-fuse fuse box. The ignition light does not come on before starting and does remain on while the engine is running. The clock no longer displays. I can't see any other faults.

  Car :- Peugeot 306 D-turbo 1997. Hi there. Having finished work about an hour ago I started her up and switched the lights on. At this both headlights illuminated for around a second before going out, leaving only the sidelights on.

  Hi, I bought a Peugeot 308 year of manufacture 2007 a couple of weeks back and only had a spare key delivered today. I tried to use the remote smart key functions but nothing happened. The key does open the door locks when opening them manually but on trying to turn the ignition with it an error message pops up saying "Electronic Error" and nothing happens, i.e. car doesn't start.

  I had them check for fault codes but they found nothing wrong. They reckon that the turbo isn't spinning and advised me to take it to a Peugeot dealer, something I'm reluctant to do, given the way they charge! I've checked the air flow sensor which is working normally. Are there any other sensors I should look at before biting the bullet?

  The MOT man reckons that someone has fiddled with the car computer to make it look like the ABS is OK. The local Peugeot garage say that is not possible. So two questions. Who is right and should it pass the MOT?

  Car : Peugeot 1997 1.9 D-turbo phase 2 (115k miles) Hello there, I have owned this car for around 6 months and recently have had a small problem. When starting, the engine fires up no problem but for around 10 seconds it sounds as though the engine is misfiring slightly.

  Turns out they are in good order, but informed my ABS may have been affected when springs were changed. Anyone got any ideas about how to check or have I got to put myself at the mercy of a Peugeot dealer (I can feel my bank account emptying already)

  hi i have a peugeot 307 sw 2.0 hdi on a 52 plate, the problems i am having is that when you try to start the car it seems to turn over for about 10 seconds then it try's to fire up but then it just carry'ies on turning over for a further 10-20 seconds then if lucky it will fire up and run, but have also noticed that if the engine has been run and is up to normal temperature you get the same problem and it can take longer to get going, i have replaced the glowplugs and when cold you do get voltage going to the glowplugs, the engine in the car is the 110bhp. any help would be appreciated many thanks markie369

  Hi i have a Peugeot 306 D turbo and it starts first time but shortly cuts out afterwards as if it is chocking even when i give it revs - i need to pop the bonnet and prime the fuel line before i can start it again, and once it is running it works fine.

  Hi all, I'm after some help / advice.... I have a Peugeot 106 XND which has a problem starting. The car will usually start first time but is really flat. If I rev the engine just after I have started the car it can take at least 5 seconds to respond then sends loads of smoke from the exhaust.

  hi all just wondered if you guys help me out on this problem that i have with my peugeot 306 turbo diesel.N reg cold start and it starts fine but there's loads of grey smoke and once the engine is warm it takes ages (about a minute) for it to start and again there's loads of smoke. its really annoying especially when it starts ok from cold but once i drive somewhere and warmed the engine up, turn the engine of and start it again it takes ages for it to start to the point were it nearly flattens the battery.

  Hi there.. .could someone please please help me.. I have an M Reg 1994 Peugeot 306 XR and have a problem with the immobiliser... all was working fine but now for some strange reason when i turn the car on it goes straight on and does not now require me to enter the immobiliser code in first, it just goes straight through and the display lights go green immediately.

  Hello I commute up and down the A12 most days (Southend -> Colchester). Three times now, over the past 6 months, I have seen a young man in a fairly new black Peugeot driving with his hazard lights on, very slowly at about 40-45mph. He's always dressed smartly in a suit and usually seen around the Kelvedon/Marks Tey area! I just wonder if anybody else has seen him or knows what he's doing?

  Have taken off instrucment panel and am met with what look like the back of a lot of bulbs. Local Peugeot service desk tell me over the phone that they are all bulbs. Are they correct and any body got any idea how they come out as they look rather delicate to me and is the temp guage also illiumated by a bulb becos this is only partially illuminated at night when the lights are switched on.

  Hi all, I have a strange problem with a newly purchased Peugeot 306 1.8 XS 1999 sunroof version not with AC. I have been getting random air escaping and or whistling noises (the whistle can get loud) that sounds like it is coming from the steering column / dash area.

  I have enjoyed months of happy motoring in my 93000 mile pug 406 diesel, that is, until recently.(2001 Y reg) It is running very rough, very noticeable from cold, and in general lacks power and runs very lumpy (almost like a misfire) My local peugeot dealer plugged it in and said there was nothing wrong with it, so i took it to one of these delphi diesel centres. They told me that my injectors are worn, fuel pump and regulator is faulty too!

  I have just bought a used Partner Van its a V reg (old shape). I need to get a spare key, the central locking/alarm type, Peugeot have quoted £138 plus £45 to programme it, this cost is a bit steep. Can I get one somewhere else ? The N/S door seal has come away from the top door recess, it appears to be ok, can I glue it back ?

  When i manual adjust the throttle under the bonnet at the associated revs the whole injection unit vibrates rapidly. The Peugeot garage said it could be the fuel pump bearings but I reckon that would cause constant vibration and not just at a certain rev. It is undoubtedly to me a certain frequency that cause the excessive vibration as once you pass the revs the vibration goes away.

  Can anyone help me ?? I have a peugeot 306 98000 miles on the clock R reg over the past few months I have noticed that Oil is getting mixed with the water. I am flushing out the water on a fornightly basis, as the water looks like MUD.
