If you drive a car owned by another person on your 'any car insurance' does the car have to be insured in its own right? OK If you park and leave it there maybe an issue. Is driving another persons untaxed car to a prearrranged MoT acceptable? pmh (was peter) -

question re: bus lanes 5 Nov 2002 (Forum)
Having recently been fined (and not for the 1st time) for contravening a bus lane, I no longer look to drive in them. BUT.... some bus lanes here in London are 24 hour ones, but there are no 24 hour bus services to drive in them. Isn't this a little bit strange? -
How to get rid of old Sierras 5 Oct 2002 (Forum)
Drive them to Antibes (South of France), drive them around for a couple of years (untaxed and presumably no MOT), then dump them in the harbour area to rot. Was there recently and saw loads of the last taxed in 99/2000, crazy. Regards Andrew www.hispecgolfs.co.uk -

Driving test rules? 5 Jan 2015 (Forum)
Fortunately, I've passed my driving and riding tests. I'm not aware of any books that list the rules and what is expected in the tests. Why does the DSA not publish a set of rules so that people know how to drive during the test? When I did my riding test I had to do a whole day -

Parking outside my house 22 Feb 2006 (Forum)
I am not one for causing upsets with my neighbours but I have a case, at present, where I do not feel obliged to back down. We have quite a long frontage on our house and we do, occasionally, leave our cars parked on the road, rather than on our drive, which is just big enough to take two cars -
