  I currently have a '98 Passat Tdi (115bhp I think) which is fine but getting long in the tooth. Comparing the Nissan I can discerne absolutely no build quality differences - if anything the Nissan seems better built. Having never owned a Nissan before, and being used to utter reliability (6 x Subaru's and 1 x VW - a good one), my question is : Will the X-Trail handle 60-70,000 miles easily and does any body want to offer their opinion on reliability with Nissans (or the X-Trail specifically....)

  Hi there, the name is Danny or Dan and I'm new to this site. I am a huge car fan and love old cars especially. Anyway, I read today that Nissan will be making an investment in the Nissan Sunderland factory. They will be making Lithium-ion batteries for future electric cars. I'm sure this will improve the UK's automotive industry. Looking forward to more news on this...

  Ok, I probably should have posted this on 'Technical', sorry! Can anyone confirm the correct CO2 emissions figure for the current Nissan Navara 6Spd Manual? HJ review suggests it's 226g/km, as does Clarkson in a Times review and one in the Torygraph. Nissan e-brochure says it is 264g/km (which means I can't have one!!)
