• Peugeot Partner 2012 - 5th gear rattle from around gearstick. 28 Mar 2025 (Forum)
  Hi,  Hope some guru can help. Just bought a 2012 Peugeot Partner 1.6 92 hdi.  Sadly it's got a problem in 5th gear.  There is a vibration/ rattle seemingly coming from around the gearstick when the accelerator is pressed which goes away when released..

  Hi all, first time post here. 06 plate Peugeot Expert 2.0 hdi 119k. Been experiencing a problem the last few months. At a certain rev point the engine makes a strange noise and starts rattling, anything over that reve point it stops and sounds good.

  Firstly I'm new to this forum so hello.  I have a 2010 Peugeot 308sw this year its had a timing belt changed and a major service. It's also gone thru its mot but failed on emission the garage put a redex treatment in  and that seemed to help. 2 ish weeks later the car is losing power whilst accelerating it gas been in the garage for a full day with diagnostic checks and also road rest but they have not been able to pin point the problem.

  The last 15 years I've been mainly a fiat guy however in looking to sell my Panda twinair to get something slightly bigger but older.    Honest opinions about the Grande Punto vs the Citroen C3 vs the Peugeot 206. All in standard 1.4 petrol guise.  No turbos or sport models. I've driven the mk 1 C3 before and to this day I still can't get over how comfortable and smooth it was on our dodgy roads...

  Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDi. Filled it up with diesel - drove for about 1 mile then the car seemed to go into some sort of limp mode as I drove up a little hill. No warning lights. Pulled over on the level.

  They claimed that the Harness was faulty and power is now reaching the light cluster but to fix the problem she would need the part that connects the harness to the bulb holders. Has anyone had any experience of this problem which appears to affect several Peugeot rear light clusters ?

  I'm just put off a lot of petrol engined cars as they are not as economical and have higher road tax. The peugeot costs £30 to tax. It also gets 4 stars on Honest John - "fine handling", yet What Car give it 3 stars and say "Dynamics, handling and shortage of cabin space are all disappointing".

  whilst driving ive noticed an intermittant loss of power abit like when you'rerunning out of fuel then it drives fine for a bit then does it again and got worse recently then clear up for a bit then came back but this time when it happened was accompanied by a sound that i can only describe as very similar to that of driving along the rumble strip on the motorway but if you push your foot down on the accelerator and speed up it clears for a bit, obviously its a fueling issue of some sort but was wondering how to sort it out as never had peugeots before and new to them

  I have a 2001 Peugeot 306 hdi that has developed a starting fault. It will start when cold but turns over more than it used to. When it is hot it is much worse some times not starting at all. I can get it to start with a little squirt of brake cleaner and then it runs with no problem untill i try to start it again.

  Hello everyone, I have a Peugeot 307 1.6 16V 2004 model petrol, automatic (AL4). Here is the problem: When I am driving downhill in the second gear and at around 1100-1300 rpm, rpm counter surges to 2200 rpm and goes back down where it starts and it does this exactly 3 times whenever I try.

  Hi Peugeot 306 "s" reg 5 door Does anyone know if a nsr wheelarch on a 306 is standard fit. My daughters car has not got one fitted and the body work around the seat belt reel has rotted out. Mechanic says it is due to the lack of liner on that side, but i have looked at other 306's, some have them fitted , some not Any ideas Ps tried a scrappy..couldnt get one for the n/s ??

  I have primed the system on my peugeot 206 1.9 diesel 1999, now when i try to start it the fuel runs back down the pipe to the filter. Does anyone know why and what to do to correct it? Someone has suggested putting a non return valve into the diesel feed pipe saying this will cure it again does anyone have any idea if this would work and could I do this myself?

  Hi I am trying to change my discs on a peugeot 106 quicksilver T reg but cannot find the right size spanner etc to get the calipers off. Does anyone have any idea what size they might be? I rang a main dealer with the vin number but their system didnt say what size i needed.

  Thankyou A friend of mine has recently purchased a '51 406 Hdi90 estate. It came with only one key, and the remote does not work. The local Peugeot dealer quoted a large amount of money for a spare key, with working remote. My friend does not have access to t'internet, nor has anything to do with computers, so I am trying to help him out. Any suggestions please.

  I have a 2001 PEUGEOT 607 2.2 HDI this morning I was driving along hit a pothole at approx 20-25mph on the right front wheel. Immediately the car lost all power, then refused to start. Fuel supply cut-off switch was not activated.

  After filling the tank with diesel, my 2003 Peugeot Partner Escapade 2.0 HDi has developed (almost immediately) a judder (or 'wobble') when under load. Accelerating up a hill generates the worst, and quite violent symptoms. It is definitely not 'rotational' because when I put it into neutral it dissapears.
