Peugeot 206 hatchback (1998 - 2006) - 99 1.9 Wont hold diesel in fuel pipe

99 1.9 Wont hold diesel in fuel pipe - Kizzy
I have primed the system on my peugeot 206 1.9 diesel 1999, now when i try to start it the fuel runs back down the pipe to the filter.

Does anyone know why and what to do to correct it?

Someone has suggested putting a non return valve into the diesel feed pipe saying this will cure it again does anyone have any idea if this would work and could I do this myself?

If you have a bulb type primer it should have a non return valve in it, chances are its faulty. Fit a new primer.
