A 62k mile 03 reg Astra 1.616v LS dualfuel estate sold for £3,000, a 56k mile 2002/52 Zafira 1.8 Elegance dualfuel sold for £5,500, and an 86k mile 03 Vectra 1.8 SXI dualfuel went for £4,050.

  What to watch Check to make sure it has been subject to all the necessary recalls. Volkswagen recalled all Amaroks built between 2001 and 2013 for a potential fuel leak problem, while 2014/15 Amaroks needed their front brakes checked as the callipers may not have been tightened to the correct torque. Check around the power steering return hose, it can get damaged and leak, leading to power steering failing.

Typically, the BlueEfficiency models benefitted from an improved official combined fuel consumption figure as much as 5.5mpg better than normal, with CO2 figures dropping by around 7g/km. For the diesel models the official combined consumption figure was from 56.5mpg-65.7mpg. Performance from all was class competitive, with a 0-62mph time of between 13.1-16.3 seconds.
