  Hi,   I have a Mazda 6 2l diesel 2002 model.  I need to check the timing but to do this i need to remove the offside engine mount to remove the timing cover.  I have been told that this is possible by placing a jack under the engine to support it.

  I placed an order request at work for the lease company to arrange for my chosen replacement car - a 2008 Mazda 6 Estate in Stormy Blue. Months have since passed and the lease company is saying that they are unable to get hold of any estates whatever the colour as they are discontinued. This is despite my investigation with the local dealer who said they are available and orders are being taken fir specific models that are not.

  The problem was that his car would not idle and stall at junctions. I am interested in purchasing a Mazda 6 121BHP diesel. And I have been trying to find out as much information about the problems with Mazda 6 diesels. I spoke to my local Mazda dealer. Said that the car is generally very realiable.   I have a 58 plate Mazda 6 2.0L Diesel. I have had the dreaded dpf light come on and took it to the Mazda dealer. They advised changing the oil and filter and regenerating the dpf. I opted to change the oil and filter myself and return it for them to them to do the regeneration.

  Hi, i have posted previously about my mazda 6 & everyone else's DPF or related problems. If you have not already done so you have to get in contact with watchdog even if your claim is resolved. Even people who dont have mazda's but are having the DPF problem.
