It’s said to be an unmolested original example with just 14k on the clock. Classic BMWs make serious money these days, and there’s a lot of demand for Tourings. If you’re handy with a welder and set of spanners, this might be a great project to take on.

  Despite running on a new platform, the 1.8-litre hybrid system is carried over from the outgoing Prius, albeit revised to improve economy. The built in electric motor has been downsized and there is a new battery system, which helps maximise load capacity.   Toyota promises improvements to economy and lower emissions than ever before, but so far there are no solid figures.
