  Rare vehicles mark Volvo's 80th anniversary 5 Nov 2007 (News)
  The Birmingham NEC is set to host a birthday party of sorts for Swedish manufacturer Volvo. It has been 80 years since the company wheeled out its first model in Gothenburg on April 14th 1927. Now, to celebrate the feat, Volvo Cars Heritage will be bringing nine rare models to the exhibition hall from Friday November 9th to Sunday November 11th.

  Volvo has launched a new deposit-free car subscription service in the UK. The new Care by Volvo service starts at £599 a month for the XC40 and the subscription cost includes vehicle hire, VED road tax, servicing, tyres, roadside assistance and  10GB  monthly in-car WiFi.

  Volvo rolls out 15 millionth car 21 Feb 2008 (News)
  "It is a functional and spacious car with a three-piece retractable hardtop which transforms the Volvo C70 from coupe to convertible at the touch of a button," the firm remarked. It has taken the company 81 years to reach the milestone after its first vehicle, the OV, was originally produced.
