  Honda halts Swindon production over parts shortage 10 Dec 2020 (News)
  Production at Honda's Swindon car factory has stopped due to a delay of parts. Honda confirmed that production will not run on Thursday 10 or Friday 11 December due to transport-related parts delays. The manufacturer told HonestJohn.co.uk: "The situation is currently being monitored with a view to re-start production on Monday 14 December."

  Jaguar Land Rover launches classic driving experience 3 Oct 2017 (News)
  A new driving event that puts drivers at the wheel of some of the best-loved classic Jaguars and Land Rovers has been launched. The event, which is run by Jaguar Land Rover Classic, is held at the 5000-acre estate at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire. Visitors will tackle thick mud and challenging slopes in some of the vehicles that helped establish Land Rover, like an early Series 1 and a Range Rover Classic. Once guests are finished testing some of Land Rover’s most iconic vehicles on the Eastnor estate, they’ll be able to take to the wheel of some Jaguar legends.

  Dacia launches scrappage scheme on Duster 15 Sep 2017 (News)
  Trade-in cars must be Euro 4 standard or older, registered by 31 December 2009 and owned in the customer's name for more than 90 days. The scheme will run until 31 December 2017. It's not available on the basic Access model, but the Ambiance is available with a £1750 saving on finance, while the - the SE Summit - comes with a £2250 saving on finance.

  Bugatti Type 37 set for Coys auction 7 Jun 2017 (News)
  Gahagan was well established in the classic car world, being involved in the early days of the Vintage Sports Car Club and running the classic restoration business Rees Brothers of Aldershot in Hampshire. He campaigned his Type 37 at numerous hill climbs, time and speed trials, including the Prescott Hill Climb, Goodwood, Brighton Speed Trials, and Silverstone track on over 20 occasions from 1949 through to 1992.

  Silverstone Classic 2017: Jaguar royalty to join XJ220 celebrations 25 May 2017 (News)
  The two leading lights were recently reunited at Don Law Racing in Staffordshire, the family-run business that is responsible for keeping XJ220’s on the road. Law currently has 22 XJ220s undergoing various renovations, some with just delivery mileage on their odometers. Law will be curating the record display and parade at Silverstone in July.

  Double celebration for Brooklands 17 Feb 2017 (News)
  Highlights of the re-opening will include a re-enactment of the original opening parade of 17 June, 1907, with veteran cars, displays and demonstrations of surviving Brooklands racing cars and motorcycles, and taxying runs by some of the museum’s historic aircraft. The well-established format of three separate competitive events of the Double Twelve continues with a sprint, driving tests and concours d’élégance held over two days, with aggregate scores from any two going towards overall Double Twelve awards.
