Auction Prices Begin to Rise 30 Nov 2001 (News)
£7,250 was very fair money for a clean gold 59,000 mile 99T Passat 1.8SE Turbo estate. A 102,000 mile 98S BMW 316i Compact was the cheapest I've seen at £4,725 and £6,350 wasn't dear either for a 118,000 mile 99S Merc C200 Classic. No stunning bargains, then. But unless there's another major terrorist atrocity between now and the new year, prices will almost inevitably rise in January.
Wheeler Dealers Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead return with a new series 30 Jan 2020 (News)
Also passing through the Wheeler Dealer workshop this series will be a 1973 Toyota Celica, 2002 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG, 2004 BMW M3, Volvo Amazon 122, Toyota Land Cruiser, 1985 Merkur XR4Ti (that’s a Ford Sierra to you and me) and a 1982 Porsche 911 SC. Keep up to date with all Mike and Ant's shenanigans when Wheeler Dealers returns to Discovery on March 2 at 9pm.
Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars to return in January 3 Dec 2018 (News)
. Other cars staring in the series include a Ford Capri, Maserati Ghibli and Morris Minor Traveller as well as a BMW 635CSi. While critics might argue that Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars just another classic car program (remember when there weren’t even any on TV?) what we like about the show is meeting the people who do the hardwork. Sure, Wheeler Dealers will show you how to rebuild a car’s brakes – but with Salvage Hunters you get to meet the people who know how to refurbish wheels and dashboards.

Jaguar calls on heritage to launch new XE saloon 9 Sep 2014 (News)
The first Jaguar to be built at Solihull, the firm has invested £3.5m in its latest model with the creation of more than 3000 jobs. Prices for the new car start at £27,000 and it will go head to head with the BMW 3-series. More than 3000 people turned up to the launch event at London Earls Court exhibition centre, which has been home to 14 Jaguar launches since 1953. Artists such as Emeli Sande and the Kaiser Chiefs performed at the event, with each performance highlighting key moments in the company’s history, from the launch of the SS100 sports car right up to the present day.
Seven generations of Mini lined-up in Essen: Techno-Classica 2014 31 Mar 2014 (News)
In the spirit of the event, and the Germans' love of model line-ups, MINI gave us a rare treat in the form of a seven-generation selection of classics built between 1959 and 2000. The cars, which were supplied by BMW Tradition as well as various owners' clubs were great examples of each version of the car, and a great opportunity to see how the original evolved (or didn't, depending on your point of view) during its lifetime. As well as bringing along this model line-up, which certainly seemed to capture the attention of the crowds, Mini also used the Techno-Classica to celebrate the car's sensational success at the Rally Monte Carlo 50 years ago.
Michelin launches updated Latitude SUV tyre 17 Mar 2014 (News)
. The Latitude 3 sits at the top of the SUV tyre range, and fits wheels from size 255/55 R17 up to 295/40 R20 – typically installed on vehicles like the BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne. Compared to the previous Latitude tyre, the Latitude 3 benefits from better water dispersion thanks to a new tread pattern, reducing braking distances by 2.7m in wet conditions.
