It does, however, have a misfire at idle, which the seller initially diagnosed as a lambda sensor but which hasn’t fully cured itself. But hey, it’s an Alfa. Great cars but you need the patience of a saint. For a mere £750 and in such straight condition, it’s surely worth investing a little bit of time and effort into getting it sorted - but check when the cam belt was last changed as they’re a common failure point on these cars. -

Rare 1889 Germain 6hp set for auction 2 Nov 2017 (News)
. The highlight of the European collection is the rare 1898 Germain 6hp Twin-Cylinder Open Drive Limousine (£150,000-220,000), which is thought to be the prototype car for the Belgian company. The circa 1902 Ader Twin-Cylinder V-Twin Four-Seater (£85,000-100,000) is an early example from the French marque founded by Clément Ader, the man responsible for establishing Paris’s phone network in 1880. -
600 classic Fords set for Midlands rally 15 Jun 2017 (News)
Around 600 classic Fords are set to gather in the Midlands for one of the biggest shows held for fans of Blue Oval-badged cars. The 9th Old Ford Rally will head to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon on Sunday, 16 July. A first for this year is the 1925 Ford Model T Railway Inspection Car which will be running on a short 30m section of track outside the Collections’ Centre. -

Timeless German classic goes under the hammer 7 Sep 2016 (News)
The ex-1935 Berlin Motor Show Mercedes-Benz 500K made €5,290,000 (£4,457,354) when it went under the hammer. The Special Roadster was the star car at Bonham’s Chantilly sale on 5 September. In 1935 the 500K took pride of place on the Mercedes-Benz stand at the Berlin Motor Show, where it was promptly bought by Hans Friedrech Prym (1875-1965). -
Two 612PS Mercedes-Benz AMGs in Historics 20th August Auction 23 Jul 2016 (News)
Historics 20th August classic car auction at Brooklands features two fantastic 612PS 6.0 litre V12 bi-turbo Mercedes AMGs: an S-Class saloon and a CL. Introduced in July 2003 the 5,980cc S65 AMG developed 612PS with torque electronically limited to 1,000Nm, getting it from 0-60 in just over 4 seconds, to 125mph in 13.3 seconds and, though limited to 155mph, an unrestricted top speed would be close to 200mph. -

Endurance Rally Association launches Baltic event 17 May 2016 (News)
The route combines acres of sub-arctic forests, miles of rolling countryside and long hours of daylight. The event concludes in Berlin, where the results will be calculated before a poolside lunch and prize-giving ceremony.
