  1963 Peel P50 makes £49,500 at Brightwells Classic Car Auction 22 Jul 2018 (News)
  While, compared to the £49,500 paid for the Peel P50, £11,000 looked good value for a 1961 BMW Isetta 300. A 1994 Morgan Plus 4 Four-Seater with an alloy body and only 27,200 miles raised £20,900 from a Belgian buyer. A 1985 Morgan 4/4 Two-Seater in need of recommissioning fetched £12,650.

  Volkswagen also manipulated emissions tests in Europe, says German minister 24 Sep 2015 (News)
  .  The news could have huge ramifications across Europe with other manufacturers already being implicated, including BMW. German magazine Auto Bild tested a diesel BMW X3 and found that emissions levels were actually 11 times the level set by the EU. BMW has already released a statement saying it 'does not manipulate or rig any emissions tests."

  Just under a third of drivers who own the opulent Peugeot 607 pay for electrical glitches, possibly due to its well appointed cabin and relatively luxurious specification.  BMW’s previous model Z4 soft top is third, followed by another Renault and a brace of Audis and Land Rovers. The quirky Smart Roadster and A4 Convertible complete the rundown with around a quarter incurring problems with their electrics.

  Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: New C-Class Coupe on the way 15 Sep 2015 (News)
  The engine lineup comprises, at first at least, four petrol and two diesel units, with the petrol lot starting at a 1.6-litre C 180 with 156PS and ending with the 245PS C 300 2.0-litre unit. In the middle, the C 200 and C 250 have 184PS and 211PS respectively. They will be joined by a BMW M4-rivaling C 63 AMG high-performance version, pictured here. The two diesels are both 2.1-litre engines, one with 170PS and another with 204PS, badged 220 CDI and 250 CDI as per their four-door counterparts.

  Classic specialist apprenticeship scheme starts in September 26 Mar 2014 (News)
  The programme is run by Roger Waters, who specialises in training programmes for companies such as BMW and Ferrari. It's backed by Babcock International Group, a FTSE100 company, which is the provider of the vocational training in the TIGOSE Apprenticeship Programme. Once complete, Apprentices will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3, with additional Functional Skills Certificate, IMI Technical Certificate, and an Apprenticeship/Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate.

  It has a normal Aprilia engine and is exactly the same as the original car, made by the same company and panel beaters. This Lancia is estimated at €105,000 to €120,000. Also on sale a 1938 BMW/AFM 328 Roadster ex Günther Bechem/German GP.  After WWII, Alex von Falkenhausen (AFM), an engineer who worked for BMW on the 328s before the war, opened a garage in Munich where he tuned pre-war 328s.

  Featuring state-of-the-art classrooms, dedicated computer study areas and a fully-equipped workshop, the training school represents BMW Group's continued investment into apprenticeships and training in the UK.
