  No Sign of Recession at Auction Today 24 Aug 2009 (News)
  Bidding apparently started at £85k and stopped at £88,500.   A 20k mile 08 Audi A5 3.0TDI Sport sold over trade book at £26,500. A 44k miles unwarranted 04 Bentley Continental GT sold for £40,500, which was over book for the mileage and provenance. A 16k mile 07 Range Rover TDV8 3.6 with no V5 sold for £31,900, again over trade book assuming the miles were genuine.

  Auction Bargains Harder To Find Today 17 Feb 2006 (News)
  £8,600 bought a 52k mile 2001/51 C220 CDI Avantgarde and top bid for a 91k mile 2002/52 C220 CDI Classic estate was £7,625. Audis, on the other hand, are still making mad money with no less than £20,700 paid for a 5,277 mile 2005/55 A3 S-Line Sportback TDI 140 DSG. While the wrong engine (2.5 petrol) killed an 05 Nissan X-Trail Sport that sold for £12,450.

  While a 17k Y reg Vantage automatic failed to sell to a top bid of £52,500. Two Audi A4 B6s aroused some interest. The 89k mile 2001/51 2.5 V6 TDI 155 Multitronic SE Avant sold for £13,150. The 25k mile Y reg 3.0 Quattro was so scruffy it needed about a day’s worth of valeting and another day with Chips Away.
