   My Yaris is valued at £5500 with CAP and 6100 with glasses .... !!! Needless to say I will not be getting a  Renault soon.   With trhe seller making £2000 on my Yaris and another £2000 on a new Renault....I think they are taking the micky !!!

  I have a T reg renault megane scenic and the fule  injection light keeps coming on. When it does come on its like the car doesn't change gear.  I put a new idle control valve in and it still happen. So if someone knows how to fix it can u let me know how pls thank

  i have a renault scenic 1.9 dci 2005, i have a warning "check injection", it does not have the power i thought a 1.9 would have,i have recently had a new turbo fitted. when i put my foot down it doesnt seem powerful enough and some times there is smoke, especialy on hills...any help please

  I've used a company called Cluster Repairs to look at it and they say it should now work but it needs a code to put it back in the car. I know Renault will charge an arm and a leg for this and it annoys me that they always say it's not a known problem- it's known to everybody else! Are there other companies (preferably around Lancashire) that can determine and insert the code?

  hi just wondering if any one can answer this i have a renault 2 1.9 dci 56 plate the other day the windscreen and rear washers stopped working at the same time so has the fag lighter i have checked the fuse as per the book  thats ok it has power in and out also checked the power feed and earths to both units and no powers my question is do these cars have a control relay of some sort like peugeots

  hi, i was woundering if anyone could give me some advice on how much it is possabliy going to cost to change a timing belt on a 05 renault megan 1.9 dci.  It hasnt broken but is due to have it changed at its next service ( about 4000 miles ). The dealership wants to charge us almost £500 but think this seems a bit steep.

  A work colleague of mine has a Renault Scenic, and now that the nice weather has started, she has started using the windows. Now am not 100% certain of the problem.....but she says: "When I turn the engine off, the drivers window goes down....the only way to stop it is to open the passenger door" Anyone have any ideas?

  Hi, I was going to tackle changing the cambelt on my Renault Trafic 2.1 Diesel. I am no means a mechanic but have tackled most service aspects on my vehicles. The one thing I can't suss out is where the locking pin goes. Any tips or suggestions on changing cambelts - one of my worries is getting the tension correct.

  The high level stop light has stopped working on my son-in-law's Megane Estate. There does not appear to be any access screws. The owner's handbook says refer to Renault dealer. Surely there must be an easy way to change this bulb. Can anyone help me in this respect please?

  I changed the batteries in my key fob for my renault megane e RT 1999 1.4. Now the key fob wont work to turn off the immobiliser, the remote central locking doesn't work either. Does anyone have any idea why its stopped working and what i have to do to fix it??

  Thinking of buying a 02 plate Laguna 2.2dci sportswagon 74000miles full Renault history, I have read of problems with turbos/ERG vavles blow engines on the 1.5and 1.9 dci engines does the same apply to the 2.2 engine, Is there any other probs to look out for or should i steer well clear?

  Can anyone tell me exactly where to find the heater blower module on my T reg Renault Scenic. I know from the manual its behind the facia to the left, but I can't find it there. Can anyone tell me exactly where it is?? What exact bit of facia is it behind. thanks. It's got air con by the way.

  I have an 03 plate 1.2 16v Renault Clio. It has been fine however when i start it now it refuses to rev when the accelerator is pressed. I am also getting fault code P0100 Mass Airflow Sensor and Code P1044 which I am not sure what that is.

  I have a Renault 1.9 dci Scenic Expression Y reg ? water pump has just gone ? was only replaced 9 months ago ? done 6 000 miles in that time.. They are replacing pump / timing belt under parts warranty but are telling me that the thermostat breaking would cause water pump to go.

  Hi, I have a renault Laguna 02 plate which is about 5 years old. I am finding that the gears seem to be jumping slightly when changing however not jumping right out of gear. Can anyone help, will this need sorted by a garage and a rough cost would be excellent.

  My friend has just bought an r reg renault clio 1.4 rt and there is a high pitch squeal coming from the engine bay. Any ideas what it could be. There is 2 belts and noise seems to be coming from the back end at bulkhead. Any advice would be great.

  Renault Clio petrol automatic,R reg,this car seems to be using a lot of fuel.It is mainly used for short urban trips,and does maybe 20-25 mpg.It has been serviced recently so I guess the filters are ok,any ideas what could be causing this?

  I want to change the gear oil on my wife's Kangoo ( doggie waggon) at about 30k to ensue maximum life but am uncertain about what to put in. Renault specify only Elf TRJ 75-80 for gearboxes with brass snychro rings. Can I use a good synthetic oil? I have used Ovoline Evolution synthetic on my Land-Rover with very good results. I notice that Castrol also suggest a synthetic.
