renault megan dynamic 1.9 dci - timing belt cost - julie2410

hi, i was woundering if anyone could give me some advice on how much it is possabliy going to cost to change a timing belt on a 05 renault megan 1.9 dci. It hasnt broken but is due to have it changed at its next service ( about 4000 miles ). The dealership wants to charge us almost £500 but think this seems a bit steep. Any advice would be great,

Why not try a few different places asking on here is only going to give you guesses not facts,£500 by a main dealer is about the going price.

Its a lot dearer if you wait till it fails!!!! Ask a reputable indy for a quote using a renualt timing belt kit. I reckon it will be around 325-350
