  My wifes Jazz does not feel quite as smooth as it once was. At first I thought it was my driving 'style' but now my daughter has noticed the same small 'interuption' in the running. It can happen in any gear and seems to be a small hicup / miss / slip similar to that noticed when you put on the A/C.

  Does anyone get more the 35 mpg out of a 1.6 petrol Zafira ? For a 1.6 engine the performance is better than I'd expected but no matter how carefully I drive the best I can get is 35 mpg and more likely 33 to 34. In a rush on the continent at 80 to 85 mpg it can be down to 27mpg.

  I have checked the power steering fluid etc but levels are fine. Anyone know what is might be? Car drives fine - smooth clutch, steering okay.

  I need to drive from Oxford to Sheffield next Friday (1 July). Leaving Oxford around 4.30 pm. Any suggestions as to the least congested route? (I'd normally go A34, M40, A43, M1 etc but I'm dreading the M1 on a Friday afternoon).

  Hi I have a 2001 Clio with climate control, today whilst driving to work I had the aircon on (set @ min) next thing hot air, as if set to max, no matter what no cold air can anybody help, or has anybody encountered similar problems with aircon / climate control ?

  Everytime I travel up (or down) the A417 my SatNav seems to think I have suddenly driven across a field to drive on a parallel minor road. It always happens at the same place, north of Cirencester where there is a viaduct. I'm convinced the road mapping is incorrect. Anyone else driven this stretch and had the same effect?

  every now and again whilst driving the engine will rev out of control and i have to switch off the ignition before it destroys its self.after restarting it will run ok for a while and do it again.the throttle is,nt sticking and all hoses are intact.the carb has been stripped and cleaned but this still happens. thanks

  Hi all, Is there any way I can minimise the damage done to the engine when taking short trips, two or three times a year I drive down to the south of France, Spain etc however the rest of the time I only make short trips and the engine rarely reaches the optimal operating temperture? Joe

  I'm thinking of buying a vauxhall calibra j plate. I was test driving it and the when i put the streering on full lock and move a squeeling noise happens. anyone any ideas? also the abs light stays on as well. the car has been lying for 3 months. could this be the prob?

  water does not come out of the windscreen jets although the bottle has water and jets are clean and the motors driving the water are working. [ I can hear them]. How do I get to the water bottle to check the valves at the bottom of the bottle please? Mondeo auto 1.8 M reg.

  Got myself 03 Mondeo Ghia. Very annoying gong for seatbelt warning is driving me mad. Handbook says it can be disabled by Ford dealer but 25 mls to nearest one. As I'm not totally useless with cars, can anyone tell me how it's done ? Cheers, Bob.

  The other day, while my wife was driving, I counted 18 different road signs between the 200 yard marker and the roundabout at the end of a local by-pass. Does anyone else feel that there is a plethora of (unnecessary?) signs these days which are both distracting and make it difficult to distinguish the important from the trivial ones?

  We have a 1997 1.8 Vectra, just recently it has started to hiccup when you are driving at highspeeds and in high gears. it only does it when you have slowed down a bit and then put your foot on the accelerator again. When it hiccups it only does it the once its not a continual thing.
