  • Upholstery Cleaners 29 Sep 2003 (Forum)
My drivers side seatbelt has accumulated some ingrained muck that is leaving a mark across all my shirts when Ive been driving for more than a few minutes! Ive tried a couple of upholstery cleaners from Halfords to try and improve things but to no avail. Does anybody know of something that will do the trick?

  • Seat Leon Cupra R 4 Aug 2003 (Forum)
Had my first drive of a Cupra R today, Goodness me what a fantastic car, very, very quick shame about the interior being a bit cheap and not a good feal to it. I think I might buy one of the new 225bhp in november, any feedback would be great.
  • Girls don't like boys 17 Jun 2003 (Forum)
To read this promo Nissan are doing for the Micra via the Guardian, you'd think that women had only just received the right to have a driving licence. http://www.guardian.co.uk/nissanmicra It's patronising in a way not seen since the 1970s at least.

  • Mazda 323F 25 Jan 2003 (Forum)
Having totalled the Megane Coupe, I am now on the trail of a new car and I quite like the styling of the 323F (c.1997/8), probably in 1.5 guise. Anyone know much about the car i.e. reliability, driving experience, serious problems etc etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Daewoo ( should I ? ) 8 Nov 2002 (Forum)
I am thinking about buying a Nubira estate 2000 model and my only hesitation is the build quality and driving experience. The prices for these cars now are rock bottom, £5000 for a 51 plate with less than 10,000 with all the mod cons. Has anyone got one? What are they really like? Thanks
  • Diesels 5 Mar 2002 (Forum)
Aside from cost, what is the advantage ? Other than longevity, MPG, and in some countries, fuel costs, why else would you choose to drive diesel over petrol ? I might for towing, although I'd prefer a bloody great petrol engine. But I'd choose the petrol every time. Anybody else have a view ?
  • heated windscreens 21 Feb 2002 (Forum)
Having just got a second Mondeo in the family, I find driving it especially at night awful because of the heated screen. I could replace the screen with an old non heated one, but am I the only person to find this a problem? It makes the odd scratch on windscreens appear to be a minor problem as these elements are over the entire surface.
  • tramlining 18 Feb 2002 (Forum)
My rear wheel drive car has become very "camber sensitive", ie lock needs to be applied to stop it moving down the camber of the road whether it's near side or off side, and particularly noticeable on the motorway. It doesn't "pull" to the side.
  • Justice for all 17 Feb 2002 (Forum)
Good to see that with only 30 million licence holders in the UK the courts recognise the difficulty in finding people to drive MP's up and down the country.

  • Battery Life 14 Jan 2002 (Forum)
, used to be 3 - 4 years but have battery manufacturers made advances. The reason I ask is that I am spending some weeks driving around Europe in the spring, my car is 4 years old (diesel), and the local tyre depot is having a battery sale on now.
  • Fiesta 1,25 Zetec cold starting 5 Dec 2001 (Forum)
My 1998 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec, shortly after starting from cold, 'dies' for a few minutes and then drives normally once it has warmed up slightly. I have replaced engine oil, oil & air filters, spark plugs, but the problem still persists?
  • Reflections from dash onto windscreen 21 Oct 2001 (Forum)
I seem to remember an article offering the address of a company offering a material to cover the dash to reduce reflections. I have an elderly customer with a 206 who can't cope with the reflection of the dash when she drives into the sun! An address of a supplier would be appreciated Thankyou
