  Cos Skoda failed, Mini failed, despite the nightclub effect showroom, Volvo then failed, Suziki also failed. But boy o boy when he sat in the wee A1 Audi .........................he was genuninely smitten. But I did not see anything particularly different about it, though this was perhaps bearing in mind the price premium.

  Help! I have a 97 Audi A4 1.9tdi with a lack of turbo boost above 2000rpm, the ecu is showing no fault codes and the only other symptom is on start up the engine revs to 2000 rpm before returning to idle at 900. I have repaced the air mass sensor but to no avail next port of call was the N75 sensor but not sure if i'm going in the right direction?

  The traction control fault on my daughters Audi A3  as posted earlier has been rectified by replacing the mass air flow sensor.Several scans all kept saying it was faulty but I  could see no reason why that should trigger the traction control light to come on.Anyway it has rectified the problem if it is of any help to anyone.

  If I buy on PCP the dealer is willing to give me 2020 pounds off the car (APR 7.5% on PCP) with a moderate trade in value. Now I know that I need to get a better trade in on my existing Audi A3, but my question is what sort of discount do you think I should be pushing for on the A4?

  To put it simply: 2001 Audi A6 2.5TDi (AKN engine). Handbook reads: A- High Lubricity Multigrade Oils meeting specitications: - VW 505 00 AND VW 500 00 - VW 505 01 Basically, what oil do I need to buy in normal terms? ie, 5W30, 10W40, 0W30, etc?

  I am thinking of bidding on an Audi A3 2.0L FSI sport (Sept 03) in a local house sale. It has done 57,000 miles and has an up to date service history. A sensor has gone on the fan, but there do not seem to be any other problems. What are the pitfalls to look out for?

  Ooccasional violent shake on cold start (exhaust bangs on underside), most of time fine. Audi say engine is running lumpy, and reckon cld be EGR valve flap problem. Any thoughts, pse gents? Many thanks.

  Following advice on the disscusion forum. I am now looking for a new/2ndhand engine for an Audi A4 Avant 1.9 tdi se yr2000 engine No. AJM242421 asmautos could not help. Have searched on ebay and there is nothing with the AJM prefix can anybody point me in the right direction of some good, sound advice?

  Just bought a new audi a4. My dealer susggests i get the exterior and interior done with supaguard. HE says its worth about 400 pounds, he'll let me have it for 300 pounds. Is it worth it? Does it work? Or is there a better solution like regular wax and polishing?

  Hi, I have finally parted with my saxo which I have had since passing my test 4 years ago. I have 7K to spend on an Audi of Golf, or should I consider anything else?? Also is it worth going to auction to get a better price, the only thing that worries me with auctions is checking out the car ie no test drive etc.

  Audi A3 is the old shape- 52 plate quattro and all the toys or the 53 plate mk4 tdi 150bhp ( a spot on one this time!) Priced at more or less the same price- both low mileage (35k). Never bought low mileage as I never quite trust them as much as a 60000miles car thats lived on the motorway.

  I have just replaced the drivers side cv joint on my Audi A4, everything seems to be o.k. But there is about 0.25" of end float in the driveshaft at the cv joint end, there doesn't seem to be any on the passenger side. I definately put the spacer and the washer in, because i double checked this.

  Hi I am just about to change the front disks and pads on my 1997 Audi A4 with abs. Is it best to undo the bleed nipple when pushing the caliper piston in to avoid damage to the abs pump or if i take it slowley will i avoid damage to the pump. I am a bit confused as i have had contrasting advice on this matter.

  All, need to know the reset procedure for the alarm on my audi a4 tdi 1995/6....also does anyone know how to reset the imob? Problem.....the doors lock on the fob but do not unlock correctly, the lights flash but no doors...also, does anyone know what the alarm button is for on the drivers side middle post?

  Hi guys, Just some general advice, im going to look at a 53plate Audi tomorrow, its got 50k on the clock, its marked up at £13k, whats the best price l should try to get it for, the guy is willing to come down in price?   My audi A4 has come around to needing a new cambelt. I thought no problems 20 quid for a new belt and it will be sorted. Having checked up i need a new tensioner and cam belt and also a damper. Do i really need to bother replacing the other bits as they are quite a bit of money the damper is £80 alone Any thoughts would be good.
