Just bought a new audi a4. My dealer susggests i get the exterior and interior done with supaguard. HE says its worth about 400 pounds, he'll let me have it for 300 pounds.
Is it worth it? Does it work? Or is there a better solution like regular wax and polishing?
Any advice please?

Agree. I think you can buy the kit yourself for tens of pounds (maybe £50 odd but I can't be really sure) and no doubt the dealer won't be paying their staff £100 per hour to apply the stuff.
Depends on what your opinion is to car cleaning. If you really don't care and you don't mind spending the money it might serve you for a short while but I doubt any wax/sealant product will last one coat for many months. Or spend a bit of money on some decent car care products, some decent polish and wax and look after your car yourself.
Have a look on a "car detailing" forum, search for supaguard and see what the responses say then decide.

Was talked in to having it applied to an A4. In my opinion a definite waste of money.

It does last. :-(
Our volvo was done by a dealer before we bought it - it is such a mess.
