Driving test grief (need advice) 18 Jan 2006 (Forum)
Just wandered how many times you took your practical driving test? I am originally from Australia so converted my driving license straight to British. My hubby is from the US and has his driving license for 17 years (also holding an Israeli HGV license and motorcycle with 0 motoring offences in both countries all these years). -

Any - Advice from HJ 30 May 2019 (Forum)
If that is where he is limiting his suggestion to then I would agree. Not for driving normally but acceptable when reversing or very slow manoeuvres. So his statement fits in with our teaching. I apologise if I was misleading but thought the original question related to normal driving (this is a practice which is creeping in). -

Inconsiderate parking - what can I do? 8 Apr 2021 (Forum)
I have contacted the police about the obstruction (as has one of my other neighbours) and have been told that provided I can get my car out of my drive, they won't get involved. I have tried to explain to the police that the only reason I can get my car out is because I have a double width drive and only one car, so have more room to manouvre. If I had a second car on the drive, I would be unable to get out without driving over parts of my garden. -

Driving, heat, and corporate manslaughter 27 May 2009 (Forum)
We often do demos or installations at locations across the UK and in Europe. As the kit is quite large, we normally have to drive it there as it is a nightmare to fly it. Recently we have started a project with partners in Munich (thanks to all who suggested routes there btw). This is a long drive, 650 miles or so from Calais, so when I went down there I made sure I was with a colleague who could share the driving. -
