    On the one hand, a 15,000 mile 2000W BMW 323 CI coupe sold for £21,400; a 22,000 miles 99T new shape BMW 323i made £16,500 as did a 44,000 mile 98R Mercedes E280 Avant Garde; a 9,000 mile 99V Audi A3 1.8T Sport 5-door sold for £14,600; a 107,000 mile 97R BMW 528i Touring automatic with lots of extras made £12,200; and a 42,000 mile 99S VW Golf Mk IV 1.8 GTi 3-door sold for £10,000. On the other hand, relative bargains of the day were an uncatalogued 10,829 mile 2000W Mercedes E320 Elegance at £26,100 (nearly £5,000 behind trade book); a 19,000 mile 2000W superceded model Mercedes C200 Sport bid to £15,000; a 93,000 mile 96N new shape Jaguar XJ6 3.2 auto with a/c and full service history sold for a mere £6,350 (Arthur Daley take note), and a 91,000 mile 97P Toyota RAV4 2.0GX 5-door automatic sold for a paltry £5,800.
