  My peugeot appeared to spontaneously combust in the drive after being at rest for an hour and a half. The fire brigade identifed the cause as a probable electrical fault in the light cluster. Independent engineer assigned by insurance co. said it appeared to be as a result of a fault in the wiring loom.

  A diagnostic test at Kwik Fit has identified an intermittent fault on a 'coil' adjacent to the radiator cooling fan.
