  I've just spent the past half-hour watching RWD BMWs and Jags struggling to get up a snowy slope. Small FWD cars had no problem. Why do people buy cars that are more suitable for touring car championships than for everyday use?

  Does anyone know if low diesel levels would cause the stability controls system to malfunctions n my BMW 1 Series. All three warning lights went out after I filled up.

   I bought a 1 series bmw  diesel back in may, my 1 concern is the terrible tramlining it suffers on many of the b roads i travel on sometimes under braking even vearing of line if the surface is uneven aswell , it runs on 225-45 17S is this a common occurence and is there any cure ?

  my  2009 bmw 320d  starts ,runs ,drives fine but occasionally a shudder seems to start at the back then slowly goes !  iv been told could be a bush ! but this seems very unlikely  i wondered if could be the traction control acting up ?

  Hi, I have a 2007 BMW 3 series coupe 2000i with 27,00 miles. The auto box is giving a clunk or judder when in stationery and in drive waiting at lights etc. Stationery, not moving forward. Any ideas please.

  Looking for a used BMW 330d, anyone had experience of this car? I'm hoping to find one with 50/60/70K on the clock for something in the region of 12000. The only snag is that few places have more than one or two in stock - anyone know where to find a good selection?

  My P Reg BMW 325 ventilation seems to work ie the Blower operates, but the volume of air coming out of the vents within the car does not vary (it is low). Any ideas what could be wrong and how to fix it? Could it be the pollen filter - if so how do I access it?

  I have noticed whilst driving behind twin tailpipe BMW's that some have a butterfly valve in the end of one of the two pipes. On a 530D (I think ) the valve was open at idle and closed on pulling away, a 330CI did the opposite. Does anybody know the purpose of the valve as it intrigues me.

  OK, great engine & 'box, but, terrible (leather) seats, poor headlights, Oliver Reed drinking habbits, cramped accomodation, nervous steering, horrendous depreciation. After owning a Vauxhall Carlton Gsi3000 for 10 yrs, the BMW just left me cold!

  My mates bmw x3 2.0 diesel has been having problems with the rear diff. It started of as an oil leak and went too get it looked at by an independent garage. They said that there was loads of swarf in the oil and that its making some bad noises.
