  • Peugeot 307 2.0L HDI (90BHP) - Centering the Flywheel 31 Oct 2012 (Forum)
I am soon to change the flywheel on m 307 and upon reading the manual, it says that I will need to center the flywheel  (dual mass) on the crankshaft using two Peugeot special tools (that I can't obtain).  Apparently these are screwed into two opposing holes, tightened up and being tapered they centralise.  Next the flywheel is fitted and tightened then these two tools are removed allowing the last two bolts to be fitted.

  • Peugeot 306 - Bypass heater exchange 4 May 2012 (Forum)
I have an old Peugeot 306, with a faulty heater exchange leaking into the passenger footwell of the car. Due to the age/value of the car, I don't want to replace the heater exchange. I'd like to simply bypass it so I can make the car last a few more months before I replace it (over the summer).
  • peugeot partner - GAP Insurance 4 Feb 2012 (Forum)
I'd be grateful if forum members could offer some advice on GAP insurance. I'm about to take possession of a 7 month old Peugeot and as it's a lot of money to me wonder if GAP insurance is worth taking out. The dealer wants £399 for 3 years but I'm sure it's  less expensive on the net. But are there things I need to know before I buy so I don't fall into any traps or very basically if it's really a good idea anyway.

  • Peugeot specialist in or near Cardiff? 22 Nov 2010 (Forum)
My less than mechanically minded son recently inherited a Pug 307 1.6 petrol from his FiL. It is overdue a service, may need a cambelt change, & MOT expires end December. Is there a Peugeot specialist in or near Cardiff that anyone can recommend? I've looked on the Good Garages section & nothing comes up. The other option he has identified himself is Kwik Fit. I know they don't have a good reputation, but I also know they vary by branch.
  • Peugeot 307 SW - Power loss issue 20 Nov 2010 (Forum)
Hi   I have a 2003 93K, Peugeot 307 2.0lt HDI 110 with a power loss problem.  When you accelerate hard from low revs there is no real power surge until nearly 3000rpm.  If the revs are brought up quite slowly with only very light throttle at first the power surge starts at about 1900revs (this being what I would expect).

Hi, I have a 1997 Peugeot Partner diesel van and the keypad Immobiliser is shot. Does anyone now how to Bypass it ???. Coming out of the Mechanical fuel pump there is a 4 pin plug/socket, I guess this goes to a solenoid in the fuel pump so can put volts into this plug to bipass the immobiliser???
