Peugeot 406 - electric window motor

hi all

ive a peugeot window problem

drivers side does not work there is no noise at he motor even on replacement motor i have got a electrical current to the motor when i depress or press the switch and my test lampshows it is through the same wire

when i tested the pasanger window wich works perfect there was a current through different wires when i pressed or depressed that switch

could the door switch be faulty or is there a relay somewher that could be faulty any help would be apreciated

I have recently had a similar problem with my 406 and was resolved by disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and then reconnecting. Not 100% sure why this has resolved the issue but will be taking it to my local garage who specialse in French cars to find out why and if it is likely to happen again.

Will update when I have spoken to them.
