    Rover announced further price cuts on 6th October and added three years servicing to its three year 60,000 mile warranty package inclusive in the prices of the cars. These now start at £8,495 on the road for a Rover 25 1.4i three-door and £9,995 for a Rover 45 1.4E five-door with the useful 103 bhp engine. Rover 75s start at £16,495 for the 1.8 Classic, MGFs at £16,995 for the 1.8i and 'old' Minis at £8,495 for the retro Mini Classic Se7en.

    The recent death of Edward Douglas-Scott-Montagu, 3rd Baron Montagu of Beaulieu, was greeted with genuine sorrow by classic vehicle enthusiasts around the world.
