  My two month old Peugeot 208 hybrid keeps cutting out when trying to drive the vehicle. It's been running fine until this weekend, engine cuts outs and restarts itself after a few seconds and then repeats the problem. There are no warning lights displaying.

  Car drives well, smooth, pulls okish in lower gears, but in 5th 6th it's very flat, up at 50mph, put foot flat on the floor and accelerates poorly up to 70 sometimes seems as if 70 is the max and won't go any more, it's been diagnosed twice by a Peugeot specialist and another garage , both stumped by it, no faults showed apart from Maf sensor which was replaced ,no turbo faults came up,no faults on dash , there's no whistling, no smoke, all very frustrating drives well, just flat .

  I have a Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi "Sport" (laughable really how they can call it that) and I've owned it for 18 months. The brake pads, at least in the front, badly need changing. It's a job I usually do myself, but someone told me that I won't be able to change the brake pads front and rear myself as the computer needs to be reset.

  Hi, not used a forum before but here goes, a couple of weeks ago i took my peugeot 407 sw 2.0 hdi in to have a new dual mass and clutch kit fitted, on return the clutch was great, but the engine has now lost power, struggles to get to 70mph, I took the car back to the mechanic and he did a diagnostics test and did find a possible fault with the turbo, but could not pinpoint the exact problem.Its going to have another looking at. odd as it seems, but could fixing the clutch have altered anything electronically, or otherwise?

  Good evening, Due to an ever extending family, I have looked at buying various MPVs on the market. For various reasons, in terms of spec, gadgets and car layout I would like to buy a peugeot 807 - 2.0 HDI year 2006. I am a bit nervous re-reliability since I have been struggling to find good reviews. My take is that the models up to 2003/2004 were the ones with problems and that a 2006 version is relatively fault free.

  Hi, ive got a peugeot 607 2.2 hdi which is not starting or cranking. Initially i purchase the car with a cooked engine, i have fitted a replacement engine and diesel pump but now it keeps on going into economy mode and does not start.

  Peugeot expert van 2005 diesel.   I can only get it to start if i give it a spray with easy start.   If i loosen off the feed pipe to one of the injectors and turn the engine over, diesel will come out.

  Hi, I spent this afternoon with a fleet manager who has 74x Peugeot 308 hatchbacks and estates in his fleet. They vary from 59 - 12 plates. The cars have constant problems from 'minor' items such as windscreen motors failing to more major issues such as clutch failure (often no more than 50,000 miles).

  hi was wondering if any can help, i have a 2002 2.0 hdi 8 valve peugeot 307 sw estate and the car doesn't appear to rev right, what happens is when you start the car up you can rev it straight up to 6000 rpm but after about 10 seconds the engine struggles to rev and seems to limit its self to 2500 rpm, the car has had all new filters and a complete service by a peugeot garage and they have also scanned the car with diagnostic machine and have nothing wrong, when the car limits its self if you keep the accelerator on the floor for roughly 1-2 mins it starts to smoke(blue and black) but it will clear and rev ok for a minute but the goes back into limit mode just wondered if any one had any ideas thanks mark

  Will the warnings damage her engine if she does not get them repaired immediately as it is very difficult for her to get to the Peugeot specialist during the week as she lives in Leeds but works in Sutton Coalfield and the Peugeot dealers were very expensive .
