  Hi, I believe my Peugeot 307 1.6 Rapier (Petrol) has a BSI Unit Issue, I am just looking for some clarification more than anything. Tried to turn it over but it was like it had no power to start! Each time I tried to start the car the electrics in the car were going mad with the airbag warning light and loud beeping and also had the 'Economy Mode' error coming up, Got the AA out and they had a look at it and couldn't work out what was going on.

  I bought an 04 Peugeot 307 1.4 diesel turbo estate, 96k, FSH, 12 months MoT, good tyres/brakes, for £2400. The thing is I bought it from a small locally owned hire company. I figured that if it had reached 96,000 miles and still drove as solidly as it did it must be ok.

  Our Peugeot 405 diesel has started overheating whilst at high speed, we have checked both fans and they work at both low and high speed. -high speed kicks in about 110 My other half has been putting the heater on full and hot to help get some of the heat out of the system, though when this was done the other night the heater started out blowing out hot air and then it cooled down till it was very cool air that was coming though, even though the temperature gauge was up to about 110 and we could hear the fans going at high speed -Does this suggest that there is an air lock causing the problem or am I thinking along the wrong lines?

  Just fitted it today and guess what....get esp fault. Does this need calibrating? What sort of reader can this be done on? Is it a Peugeot dealer job? Thanks Gary

  Hi all I'm new to this, I've recently got the cylinder head off my 1.4 MPI Xreg peugeot 306. Whilst my head was off the crank was turned and caused the liners to pop up a bit... I've pushed them back down but am unaware of what consequences this might cause? I've seen a similair sort of thread about this, about the coolant mixing with oil, but there is no coolant in my system because it was drained prior to removing the head.

  peugeot expert 2.0 hdi starts when cold will not when hot it fires but will not go i got my 2 lads to push the van whilst hot and approx 5mph it started? once started all power/engine is fine and will run all day i have changed high pressure pump/rail sensor/temp sensor diagnostic chap used a small snap on machine and code p1108 was there no management light comes on had an injector test/they say there ok/yet other mechanics swear its normally those??

  Currently I don't have the alarm system key, I trying to contact the previous owner for this. If I can't get the key from them can Peugeot or someone else provide one? Thanks. Steve.

  I have a Peugeot 307 Rapier HDI diesel estate - I keep getting the anti pollution fault come up and twice in the last week the car has gone into safe mode while I was driving - after switching the engine off for a few mins the fault clears and car drives normally - my local garage has put the car on the computer and 3 faults have come up: Fuel Pressure Coherance short circuit, Fuel Pressure signal short circuit and Diesel High Pressure Flow Regulator short circuit to ground - last year I had the same problem but needed to replace the Fuel Pressure Regulator - is this going to be a very expensive ongoing situation - please help {typo in header corrected}

  Hi I have a peugeot 406 HDI 2.0 diesel estate, 2001 (Y) reg. I have noticed in the last few days my speedo does not always work when I first start my car, but after about 21/2 miles it starts working and then it appears to be OK for the rest of the day irrespective of how many times I stop and start the car.

  Peugeot 306 TD 1.9 Hi all I was driving along at 50 (motorway roadworks)and it started to shake through the steering randomly I then got off on to a side road and turned the car to the right and got a clonking on full lock so I thought it was the drive shaft I bought a second hand one from a scrapy put it back together and it is still doing it I checked the wheel bearing for play I even got the car off the ground and tried it with the engine runnig and in gear there was no noise I am right in thinking it's the drive shaft and only makes the noise when under load any help would be great .

  He lives in France but is frequently in the UK and he has been quoted 600 pounds Sterling by a UK Peugeot dealer to replace the filter and top up the required fluid. Is it always necessarily to replace the filter and is this price reasonable? {added year to subject line}

  Hello, i was wondering whether anyone knows where the central locking control unit is found on a peugeot 306 (2000) i have read on this forum and others that if the central locking goes wrong then a good way to solve it is to close the loop on the circuit on the Central locking unit however i have struggled to find it despite looking in boot, under seats and in middle consule?

  Hi there.. .could someone please please help me.. I have an M Reg 1994 Peugeot 306 XR and have a problem with the immobiliser... all was working fine but now for some strange reason when i turn the car on it goes straight on and does not now require me to enter the immobiliser code in first, it just goes straight through and the display lights go green immediately.

  I bought a 56 plate Peugeot 207 last October. Since buying it I had to replace the side panel (someone drove into me) and am now having to deal with further repairs due to a 4 wheel drive vehicle driving into the 207 whilst parked.

  Just been reading Leo the Lion's thread about his diesel pump and so thought I'd get in with a question of my own. My Bosch diesel pump on my 95 peugeot 405 is leaking from where two parts of the casing are joined. It's the join nearest the out lines to the injectors where there appears to be a slight recess on both sides of the join. It started as very small but now it's weeing out.

  Hi - I have a 1999 Peugeot 306 Diesel Turbo which has about 128000 miles on the clock. I've recently had a new cambelt and radiator fitted and like the other guy, the aircon is knackered and too expensive to fix. Apart from a minor issue with the brakes going a few months ago, I've had nothing but trouble free motoring in it since I got it second hand.

  Hi I hope someone can help me. My brother has a Peugeot 406 hdi that has been stood for a couple of weeks and when he went to start it this weekend the battery was flat. Having removed the battery and recharged it, the engine immobilser (flip down pad type) now refuses to accept the code...b4 when the code was entered the red light went out and the green light came on and the engine started...now both the green and red lights stay on after the code has been entered and the car refuses to start.

  My Peugeot 406 HDI (2000 X) has started indicating left by itself at seemingly random points. Quite often the left hand indicator is on when I switch on the ignition. Start the engine and it stops. Sometimes when driving along it starts up.

  The vehicle had a new rad, cylinder head gasket, and head skim (7 thou removed) and timing belt at 55k. It did short runs - ie 7-8 miles- first 40k but since then long runs. Oil and filter -peugeot filter- every 7-8k. Are there any other problems i should watch out for on this matter?? Any advice would be most appreciated. Cheers
