   For months and months ive been looking for a new diesel car to replace my less than appealing 1999 VW Polo 1.9 TDI Estate.  I like Volkswagen Auto Group cars (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda) and as such im trying to find something like a TDI Seat Leon or VW Golf. However after looking at multiple cars i keep getting the same thing which stops me from buying them, smoke from oil filler cap and/or oil dipstick.

  Hi, I own a 1998 Volkswagen Golf Mark 4 - Its the 1.4 E model and plagued with problems since buying it from a trader only a couple of months ago.  The major problem is excessive white smoke coming from the exhaust from oil burning - I know its oil as I have only owned it a couple of months and I've already had to put about 7-8 litres of oil in it.

  Anyone else own a Scala? What are your opinions of it? I know Skodas share many parts with the Volkswagen Group, some say the Scala has the same chassis as a Golf? If it lasts as well as my trusty 2010 Astra i will be more than happy.

  Hi All,  I'm currently looking at to buy a new car for myself and I'm stuck on deciding between the skoda fabia and Volkswagen Polo both of them 1.2 tsi and have almost the same specs. The price for the fabia is €16,100 on the road and for the polo it's €15,500 on the road. I've searched a bit online and everyone rates the fabia as a better car I would like an opinion from you guys to maybe finally decide which one to choose.

Both the Opel Zafira and Volkswagen Touran have reasonable new car offers on them at the moment, undercutting the likes of renault / citroen / ford / peugeot / etc and making them the cheapest 'proper' 7 seater cars on the market.
