Whilst we appreciate that all manufacturers can have issues, the ePower system was extensively tested in Japan before release to the wider market. It seems that Nissan is trying to avoid a recall at the moment but the burgeoning number of complaints is worrying. Our dealership has told us that the fault has been identified and the part is ordered and due to be fitted this week. -

When i have rung around scrap yards and looked on a breakers network website, I have been unable to find the matching code. The last Nissan breakers i rang told me i didn't need to worry about the correct code and as long as it comes off a 2.2 it should be fine. Is this advice correct? I find it strange that out of around 20 scrap yards checked, not one of the X-Trails had the matching numbers. -

My wife and I are retired and live in Pembrokeshire. In October 2015 we purchased a new Nissan Qashqai. We had the first annual service in October 2016, the vehicle mileage was 7030. The second annual service has just been completed (06.10.2017) with the mileage now at 13970. The local Nissan dealer has informed us that the vehicle requires new rear brake discs and pads. -
