Mazda 6 2.2 Diesel Estate

Great to drive, but most unreliable vehicle I've ever purchased

Bought this vehicle on the strength of multiple reviews sighting it's driving abilities, practicality, reliability and MPG economy. Drove for two happy weeks, before seeing the engine warning light. Had to limp back over 200 miles from a family holiday to get to dealership.

Imagine my surprise when informed by the dealer that I was suffering from a very common oxygen sensor failure that occurs around the first 1,000 miles. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of other owners suffering the same fate. I've now not had access to the car for three weeks, and no sign yet of the dealer fixing the fault. This model, as far as I'm concerned, is not of merchantible quality. Avoid until Mazda have fixed the issue.

Most upsetting of all is the knowledge that Mazda are fully aware of the problem, yet have not issued a recall, and continue to sell the model. Ever felt like a mug???
