Overall a brilliant car to ownand drive.
The BMW X3 is a pleasure to drive on long or short journeys. I enjoy the higher up seating position and they are also easy to get in or out of with my back problem. It is well equipped and comfortable and has a quality feel to it. Real life MPG is a lot less than advertised though . The auto gearbox is great, and the engine power is massive. However the engine has so much excess power that the 2 litre is probably adequate, unless you really need more bhp that is . As a watch out there is a boot release switch right next to electric window switches which I have inadvertently pressed once or twice , and you need to be careful you press the correct switch!
