Cars that are Group One to insure

Good: Significantly better ride and handling than the FIAT 500. Lots of scope for personalisation. Fun to drive and economical.
Bad: Likeable, but doesn't tug at the heart strings the same way as a FIAT 500.

Good: Low running costs, including insurance. Good crash test rating.
Bad: Tailgate isn't that practical. Poor showing in JD Power Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Bad: Double folding rear seats not standard.

Good: Bargain entry price of £5,995. Low 103g/km tax. High mpg. Auto option. Nicer seats than Suzuki Alto. A decent drive for £5,995.
Bad: Low rent features like stalk adjustable door mirrors.

Good: Cute little Citroen C1 clone offering low emissions, low tax, good fuel economy and a proper 4-speed automatic option. Decent to drive.
Bad: Thrummy 3-cylinder engine. Not as sophisticated as a Hyundai i10.

Bad: Doors feel flimsy. Reports of water leaks.

Good: Solid, stylish-looking and decently equipped supermini. Decent handling and some strong, frugal engines.
Bad: Numb, overly light steering. Boot too narrow for standard size pushchair. Dash reflects in screen.

Good: More substantial than a Lupo. High seats. Roomy cabin seats four comfortably. Cheap.
Bad: Front screen pillars cause a large blindspot. Nonentity of a car.
