  I have a new B-Max which is generally a nice car.  However, I have discovered that it is leaking rainwater very badly in the offside boot area.  Has anyone else had similar problems?  The car is under a one year warranty and is back in the garage but one of my concerns is long term water damage and rust as I had intended keeping the car for several years.

  Hi there Anyone have any experience of the 1.6 C-Max tdci AUTO ?? I'm trying a couple of C-Max's tomorrow, manual, but there is quite a nice one available but it is auto and I wondered if this is a real slug of a combination. I like auto and I like diesel but not sure if this would haul a C-max along at anything like a decent speed.

  I've just had an 18000 mile service of my 2010 registered C-Max. I was alarmed that the garage reported that both front tyres had completely worn smooth on the inner edge. When I queried whether this was normal (I don't think it should be!) I was told that this was common in the C-Max.

  Has anyone tried fitting genuine Ford roof bars to a C Max? The bolts that fix the brackets to the threaded holes in the roof are too short. They're 60mm for the front and 65mm for the back, but they are about 10mm too short. Ford dealer told me there is only one kit for the C Max and hadn't come across the problem before.
