Ford C-MAX - Water leaking under car HELP! - samuelodog

Hi -

I just discovered water dripping out from under my ford focus c-max. I'm sure it's water - I tasted it!

Its dripping down from below approx where the handbrake is, or slightly towards the drivers side, and spreading out. There is a protective plate over the entire bottom of the car so it's hard to see exactly where it is coming from.

What could be causing this - will it be expensive!!?

I have water dripping from under all my cars,it is condensate from the a/c system and nothing to worry about.

My wife had aircon on pretty high, but the water was dripping out all along the road. Is this normal?

Turn off the air-con and see if it stops.

Well, it was rather humid yesterday, n'est pas?

Most handbooks cover this issue pretty well. What does yours say?

If it's perfectly clear water it'll be the air conditioning evaporator drain. This is normal and also proves that your A/C is working well.
