    Between 8 – 14 June, this bespoke motor show promises to attract more than 350,000 visitors, making it an ideal venue for the UK debut of Jaguar's range-topping models. Jaguar will also display the recently launched XF Diesel S – What Diesel magazine's 'Best Executive Car' for 2009 - featuring a high performance, 3.0-litre diesel engine. This new car is 1.8 seconds quicker than the outgoing 2.7-litre it replaces while producing 10 percent less CO2 with an improved average fuel consumption of 42.0mpg – a 12 percent improvement.

Another restoration project - bearing the highly appropriate registration number XKA1 - the 1956 Jaguar XK140 Roadster comfortably exceeded its high estimate to fetch £31,900.

    Top bid took it to £2,900 provisional. It wasn’t all like that. The book was spot on for a 92,405 mile 99T S-Type Jag 3.0 litre V6 manual with no extras to speak of but in a fetching shade of light metallic blue. The estimate for 90,000 miles was £9,900. Top bid was £9,575. So reckon it probably came for £9,750.

    Silverstone Classic 2019: Minis set for Silverstone party 1 Feb 2019 (News)
    As well as honouring the Mini in record-breaking style, this year’s Silverstone Classic is also marking Bentley’s centenary and 50 years of the Ford Capri. The track programme also features evocative retro races for prized Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3 single-seaters for the very first time.   • London Classic Car Show to honour designer Ian Callum 28 Nov 2018 (News)
    This will feature some of the most notable and cars that he has designed, including the Aston Martin DB9, Jaguar I-PACE, F-TYPE and XK and the Ford RS200 rally car. There will also be a Q&A with the man himself at the show. Talking about the exhibition and receiving the Icon Award, Callum said he was honoured to chosen for the award.

    Competing against the Corvettes in the 1950s, this 1956 Ford Thunderbird automatic was recently imported from the US and a V5C application is currently being processed by the DVLA that should be completed prior to the auction. The green on green interior looks original and the chrome is good, though the exterior paint could do with some work.

    The reduction in the cost of petrol means that the driver of an average family car - like the Ford Focus  - with a 55-litre tank can now fill up for £63.91, a saving of £2.20 since February this year. The average price of diesel is also down by 1.7 per cent, to 117.3p-per-litre.
