    Barons’ sale at Sandown Park on July 28th is headlined by an elegant selection of Rolls-Royces and Bentleys from the 1920s to the 1990s, including two splendid Rolls-Royce 20hp Landaulet Limousines - a 1927 example (estimate £43,000-£47,000) and a 1929 version (£30,000- £35,000) and a very stylish 1967 Rolls-Royce MPW Convertible (£35,000- £45,000).

    Two early entries include a pair of stately 1920’s Rolls-Royce 20hp Laundaulet Limousines,with original coachwork. The 1927 Park Ward-bodied example, registration number RR 8426, carries an estimate of £43,000-£50,000, while the outstanding 1929 Hooper-bodied car is estimated at £33,000-£36,000. They can be previewed on Barons' stand at Beaulieu on May 16th and 17th.

    Another big seller from the Laidlaw Collection was the 1965 Porsche 904/6 Carrera GTS, which sold for £1,232,000. The international demand for fine Ferraris continues to generate impressive sales results. A particularly fine road specification 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 perfectly demonstrated the strength of the market by securing £1,646,400, a (yet another) world record price for the model at auction.

    Please follow the yellow road signs and marshals at the entrances, where your tickets will be scanned.  Tickets are available on the gates at £10 per person, but you can save by booking online where advance discounted tickets will be available until midnight on Saturday 5th January.  Once inside the perimeter of Bicester Heritage you will be directed to the relevant parking areas. Modern cars will be sent to the appropriate car park and pre-1990 classics will be directed towards the historic RAF Technical Site, Test Circuit and Hangar Aprons. Our parking policy is very relaxed, we encourage people to choose a space they like the look of and go for it!

    A splendid 1962 Series 1 E-Type roadster took the lead at Barons’ sale   at Sandown Park on June 15th. The steel blue machine sold for just   under £52,000, surpassing its estimate. In second place was a fine   2002 Dax 427 (AC Cobra replica), which achieved £33,650, followed by   another Series 1 E-type – this time a 1964 fixed head coupé (£20,130).
