    The exhaust is prone to rattling, check the tightness of the mounts underneath to prevent this. Is the cover or waterproofing missing around the ECU? Ingress is a known weak point and if water gets in and corrodes the ECU you’ll get all manner of warning lights and an expensive repair bill.  Spacious yet compact, the NV200 is a perfect urban van that’s yet to be surpassed on volume among its regular wheelbase rivals.

    Mitsubishi has announced a recall of all Lancer Evolution IV and Evo V models built between December 1996 and July 1998 that have reached the UK. The recall involves replacement of the Anti Yaw Control ECU which has been improperly programmed. This controls the power split to the left and right rear wheels. If it were to fail, the clutches in the differential would not engage and could cuase damage to the rear axle diff.

    That price buys a 2.5-litre 300PS all-wheel drive performance car, but those hankering for more performance can upgrade for £1599. That increases performance to 340PS, by way of altered ECU settings and a tweaked exhaust system. The upgraded 340R model will hit 60mph in 4.7 seconds, with improved in gear acceleration to boot. Those tempted will be pleased to hear that the WRX STI can be financed for less than £300 a month, and some 0% offers are available.

    Oh, and the cutting blades are made from actual carbonfibre. As well as the engine, Fireblade parts include the clutch, ECU, six-speed drive train and full colour LCD display. Gears can be changed through carbon paddles on the steering wheel - although Honda says it can hit 90mph in first gear alone. Underneath, it looks neither like a motorbike or a standard Honda mower.
