  Last year I had a problem with my car stalling when slowing down and kangarooing as if there was a fuel blockage.  I went to my garage several times and then took it to a Nissan dealership at their suggestion,  no faults came up on the computer but they suggested I needed to replace the Air Flow Meter at the cost of £450 (part only).  While I was waiting for the part to be ordered the car seemed to have corrected itself and I didn't experience further problems, apparently this could have been cleared because they had removed the meter and tested another meter and then replaced it.

  I have a 2001 Nissan Micra K11 1.0. I've been experiencing really poor engine performance recently. It would start easy enough and idle OK, either cold or hot, but would not rev when I pressed the throttle, and was virtually impossible to drive as there was just no power.

  Hi there, Not long ago I bought a Nissan Almera. It's high mileage (157k) and got it for £250 so if I cant get this annoying problem sorted I wont sweat much for the money I payed. The last couple of weeks I've noticed quite an alarming shake at high speed, passed 55mph with foot down the car shakes quite violently.

  ....I have recently purchased a Nissan Almera 1.8 SE (MY 2000). The car seems to have a very intermittent Judder\Misfire that only seems to occur in 4th or 5th gear (but not all the time) The car seems to drive faultlessly in gears 1-3 & starts & idles very smoothly with no unusual rattles or noises.

  Hello My wife and I live in France and we are very poor financialy. To cut a long story short we have been running our old nissan with a defective UJ for nearly 2 years. Before he moved back to the UK I asked him what would eventualy happen, he said it would get noisy and to avoid full lock. At one point we felt we could afford to get the work done (by an english mechanic, french mechanics are extremely expensive).

  Hi, had my Nissan Tino about 6 months now very reliable car the only thing is it uses a lot of oil, i had the oil changed about Xmas and im constantly topping it up every 3 - 4 weeks ,when i collected it from the service the fellow told me from empty to full it only holds 2.7 litres of oil so a gallon would nearly do you two changes ,its not leaking any where and it just went through its MoT before Xmas and no blue smoke from exhaust and 57000 miles on the clock its a 1.8 twin cam s model 2002 .....and does any one know the proper oil that goes in them its just different car part shops are telling me different types the person who done the service said he put 20/40 semi synthetic in it thx Year and engine type put in - we should start asking people to do that themselves !
