  My Nissan Micra 1998 the temperature gauge shows hot from the minute i turn on the ignition.The temperature control switch has been changed but the problem is still there.

  A friend of mine tells me that you shouldn't put water and antifreeze in the expansion tank of modern cars (especially Nissan and other Korean/Japanese makes) but only a mixture sold by the manufacturer (should it need a top up). Is this true?

  I am loking for a three year old Nissan QX 2.0 V6 automatic. Unfortunately they almost all have high mileages. Is it realistic to expect a car of this sort that already has 90,000 miles on the clock to cover a further 120,000 over the next eight years without major mechanical problems?

  They have given me an estimated cost £2700 to swap both modules , but no guarantee that this will fix the fault, so could cost more. I have asked Nissan customer services to assist , and they have offered a 25% good will gesture towards the total cost, but as Nissan Technical cannot identify the fault, who knows how much it will cost to fix. Has anyone had this type of fault before.

  Hello, I currently have a 13 plate toyota automatic but looking to trade this in and get a newer car.  I have always wanted a nissan juke, I love the look, however, I can only drive automatic cars and have read lots about cvt issues in nissan jukes. The posts and articles I have read all seem to apply to earlier models, Iam looking to get a 17/18 plate and just wondered if the cvt issues still occur in Jukes from these dates?

  I have just placed an order for a Nissan Juke Tekna 4x4. At the present time Nissan in Japan can not give a delivery date for this model, but it may be June/July. Currently there are about 190 cars on back order for the UK. This great looking car seems to be a hit.

  I have just had an oil and filter change on a Nissan Almera and the sump only holds 2.7 litres( this being the QG engine found on petrol models).  Most cars tend to hold 4-5 litres, so I wonder why Nissan have gone for such a small sump as it does appear the car is using more oil, the mechanic at my family garage saying the level was down to midway( although there is no engine wear), until we checked and found the engine had an unusually small oil sump.

  Hello all. My dad's thinking of changing his Toyota Corolla for a new Nissan Quashqai. Does anyone know if the 1.6litre petrol engine is a Nissan or a Renault engine and whether it has any known problems? I know it's still very new but are there any other known problems with this vehicle?
