Cavalier, Front wheel grinding! 7 Nov 2003 (Forum)
Morning all, I have a '95 Cavalier which this morning developed a harsh grinding fron the front driver side wheel when taking right hand corners at a reasnoble speed. Doesn't happen when gently going around right handers or at all when going around left hander at any speed. Did a couple of full right hand circle in the car park and needs a little welly to make it happen, as if you were checking CV joints, no clicking and no previous indication of a problem, drives ok, steering feels fine, nothing obvious trapped underneath, just a nasty harsh grinding noise, any ideas Thanks, Ellis -
Knocking noise from under front suspensi 28 Jul 2003 (Forum)
Hi all I own a R plate (1997) Mk4 Fiesta Flight with a Zetec-SE engine. When I purchased the car there was a slight knocking noise from the nearside front suspension when I drove a little too enthusiastically over speed bumps - bit like a "clank". This has since got worse, and occurs when driving over un-even road surfaces. -

speed wobbles! Vauxhall Astra 20 May 2004 (Forum)
I\'m getting a lot of vibration/speed wobble at about 65-70 mph, my car had a front end shunt about 18 months ago and a friend suggested I might need to get it \"jigged\"? Also suggestions for uneven tyre wear? What does \"jigged\" involve? It\'s a front wheel drive Astra. -
VW nightmare please advise. 24 Dec 2005 (Forum)
Hi, I would really apreciate some advice as I am really stuggling with a problem. I have a Mk5 golf (54 plate) The car developed a serious leak (the boot, rear and front passenger footwells filled with water) I took the car into VW, told them the problem (i.e. I said there is water coming in the boot, and both passenter footwells) VW took the car and after a week told me they had spent all week looking at the car and could not find a problem. -

Nissan micra 2006 1.2 - Nissan micra overheating 21 Jul 2018 (Forum)
Hello my grandmothers car has recently been overheating, although the symptoms are slightly strange. If the car is driven with the heater on hot and fan at full speed the car will not over heat, even if driving at 70 mph for around an hour. -
Old boys cars, (well preserved) 12 Jul 2007 (Forum)
Fifteen years old, red paint and all... looking like brand new. really new that is, almost like a timewarp, if it existed, would present one. I guess its quite reasonable for someone buying their last car new, to keep it in a heated garage when its salty on the roads or even wet. To use the free bus pass and let the car stay pristine in bad weather. Whats the best example seen? in common cars that is, not the Lord in his Manor with a brace of Bentleys. -
