  But if you don’t mind the miles you could have had a field day. On Monday a mate picked up a 2001Y but 130k mile BMW 530iSE Touring auto with leather but needing a bit of paint for £7,250. Today, 92k mile 2000W 523iSE manual sold for just £5,700. Even more stunning value, a 163k mile 2000W Mercedes E320CDI Classic 7 seater estate sold for £8,450.

A 70k mile 2001/51 320CI 2.2 sold for a serious £13,400. A 44k mile 2000W 318CI sold for £10,950. A 55k mile 2001/51 316iSE auto sold for £9,700. And an 82k mile 2001X 320iSE 2.2 bid to £9,200, which wasn’t nearly enough.

  A 62k mile 98S Peugeot 206 1.1 3-door with a big sunroof wasn’t cheap at all at £3,425, and a very early 53k mile 2000X X5 4.4 bid to £25,850, which is a bit more than the £24,700 a 68k mile 2001Y X5 4.4i bid to in Hall 1 two hours earlier. Generally, BMWs seem to be coming down a touch, mainly because the trade is full of them. So many were sold in over December and January and have not yet sold through that dealers are having to be more circumspect.
