  Hi, You may remember early last year that we purchased a BMW M3 Evolution. Well, its time to move it on for something different. Anyway, ive been trying to get valuations and they are all over the place! Parkers quoted something like £13,500 if it was sold by a dealer, however whatcar have said £15,040 privately and the bmw enthusiasts site have said my car is quite rare and should fetch at least £15,500-£16000.

  I can either get a set of traditional old school mud flaps or a set of the plastic, smaller, fitted mud guards, BUT, being a tight-fisted Yorkshireman I will not be paying BMW prices ! So which would be effective ? I suspect the flaps keep more muck off as they have more depth down toward the road surface but the guards look more pleasing aesthetically. Who has fitted 'What" and to what effect ?

  Hi, I have put a refundable deposit, unplanned, down on a 59 BMW 318 M sport 2.0l petrol. 49k miles full "extensive" service history, seems to be a local runaround. I'm looking at replacing a 1.6 Astra and just fancied something a bit better as bored of Vauxhall's having had at least 5 previously, doing 25k year on motorways.

  Hi All, I'm looking to get a used reliable estate. One thing that is holding me back from some real bargains is the mileage. For example BMW 3 series touring 2008 125,000 full service history, £3500 This seems a bargain and I would expect a car like this to go over the 200,000 mile mark easy. I usually go for Volvo's as a rule but open to suggestions here.

      Many young men in their twenties seem to aspire to owning a BMW. In recent years three in this area have brought old Beemers. Each one has been a money pit and was sold on within a year. One of the buyers said the only problem was an exhaust knock. This was cured by replacing the exhaust and then re building the worn out rear suspension.

  Anyway, I would like to get another premium hatchback next time that must be automatic, preferably torque converter box but also something that I can believe to be reliable for a decent length of time.   Hi, I'm looking to exchange my Honda Civic 62 for something a bit more sporty.  The 2012 BMW 3 Series or Audi A4  have caught my eye and aren't too bad on the wallet.  Any thoughts on which would be the better option? Features, reliability etc.  I do city driving probably 85-90% of the time so thinking petrol may be the better option.

  Lol And have been looking at the 2 mentioned above.. I have seen 2 cars going for around my budget of £5500 -£6000 BMW 520d se touring auto Audi A6 advant sline auto Both have 2.0 Diesel engines, sat nav and full leather etc and have around 100k on the clock Both look good just can't really decide the best one I have only owned VW in the past (and no I don't want a Passat lol) Something different this time around?
