Used Van Buying Guide: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2006-2013 25 Nov 2019 (News)
. Other niggles include check straps on the doors failing, sliding doors jamming and brake light switches failing - the latter confusing the ECU into thinking you’re braking when you’re not. VALUES OF PRESTIGE CABRIOLETS FALL TO ALL-TIME LOW 5 Mar 2009 (News)
Prices are already stabilising, and for many models they will now rise, month-on-month, until July or August as a consequence of an expected modest uplift in demand as the weather improves.” Crosthwaite says that concerns about emissions and fuel economy have meant the falls in value have been greatest for those cars with larger, less efficient engines. “The price difference between the prestige drop-tops with lower- and higher-capacity engines has eroded rapidly over recent months. -

Honest John's Motoring Agony Column 27-6-2015 27 Jun 2015 (News)
What I think happened is that the DPF got choked with ash, the engine system tried to regenerate it in the normal way but, because the DPF was blocked, the excess fuel pumped into the engine to do this went straight to the sump where it raised the level to a point where the engine started running uncontrollably on it sump oil. -
Used Van Buying Guide: Ford Transit 2006-2014 20 Nov 2019 (News)
Early common-rail Transit models can be problematic, though most of the problems are due to fuel contamination. If that’s the case the entire system will need flushing, new injectors, a replacement pump and pipes. Do all that and you’ll face a bill in the region of £1700. Other engines in the line-up included 2.3 petrol and a 2.4-litre TDI for rear-wheel drive models, with outputs ranging from 75PS to 145PS, the arrival of the facelifted mk7 Transit bringing some changes to the engine line-up, as well as some sheet-metal revisions and taller headlights. -
Used Values Up Again at Auction 7 Mar 2009 (News)
Prices are now on a par with those recorded before the credit crunch began to bite in January 2008, when values were at £8,813. In similar fashion, performance against CAP Clean has risen from a summer lowpoint of 86.92% in August, to a February highpoint of 105.22% MPVs MPV values fell consistently through 2008, from a peak of £4,804 in January to reach a low point of £3,637 in November. -

100 years of small Fords 17 Jun 2011 (News)
Another quirk of the design is the routing of the exhaust, which passes directly underneath the pedal box and wooden floor, making the cabin was warm as a bath house. There are no dials, so knowing how much fuel is left or how fast you’re travelling is a dark art best left to experts. It’s a far cry from what we call a ‘normal’ family car today, and it proves just how far Ford has come in the 100 years it’s been established in Britain. -
Porsche Carrera Cup Race Season Set to be More Exciting Than Ever 26 Mar 2011 (News)

Caine, meanwhile, lost a better lap on new tyres when his car ran low on fuel through the last corner on a lap that was set to be around half a second better than his 1m50.887s best. “It cut out coming out of Coram on my second flier,” reported Caine. Making it a superb day for the Red Line team was seventh fastest and top Pro-Am1 time for Ahmad Al Harthy after a very impressive run.
