  I don't want to go throwing money at it so I hope someone reading this has had the same issues and can help me. We put the scanner on, cleared all the codes, ran the engine for a bit and then the code that came back was P1404 Pre-heating/Additional heating; circuit 2 - error.

  About 10000 later i noticed the same problem I took my car to a tracking specialist where i was informed my camber was out on the offside front i asked for a print out and took this to my dealer they said this was the wrong data for my car another wheel alignment was carried out. i was informed i had a sized track rod end this was replaced. i then had new front tyres fitted i still have the same problem wear on offside front outer edge all my other tyres have worn evenly over the life of the car.

    It's done 59,000 miles and is pretty good.  The only thing I don't like about it is how much it bobs around at the front.  Pushing the car down at it's corners, it is much stiffer at the rear, but the front is pretty easy to push down at both corners.  I'm thinking of replacing the front dampers at it looks like a really simple job.

  I would like to change the oil on my daughter's car.  It is a Peugeot 108. If I jack the car up at the jacking up points (pinch weld just behind the front wheel), there is not enough space to put the axle stand to provide extra support. I have two options: 1) jack up the back of the car a bit higher, and fit the axle stand on the front pinch weld.

  General question. I believe that on my car at least (perhaps on all cars, I don't know) the gearbox end of the driveshaft rotates within a fixed oil seal which has no moving parts. If so, why is the rubber seal not melted by the heat created by the friction of the rotating shaft?
