  A budget of £3k, and it would need to be an auto.  Plenty of choice but, he and I both mentioned the Nissan Primera P12. Seems that for the money, you can get one with lots of service history-I believe it's pretty crucial for the longevity of the timing chain to have had regular oil changes?  We both like the interior design, and the reverse camera and optional sat nav are attractive options, which don't seem to be present on similar family cars of similar ages.

  i own a garage, about 4 years ago a nissan navarra was brought in owner had cooked the engine he left me his contact details , i sourced a second hand engine, gave him a price and he gave me the go ahead, fitted engine spoke to him to let him know it was done and since then nothing, When i call him phone rings out have left messages on answerphone and texts but no response. last week DVLA clamped it beca8use there is no SORN on.

  Budget beteen 14k and 18k, Must be an Automatic for the mrs to drive too. Do I go for the Mk2 3008, its got cracking reviews and plenty of equipement, or Nissan Quashqui (sales record speaks for itself) KIA Sportage? or the Ford KUGA (I was a mondeo man for many years mk3 and 4. I love the look of the Kugas but the mrs likes the 3008. Any help pros and cons aprieciated.

      Now the journey to work is around 8 miles a day, so I was considering an EV as they seem perfect for the journey, there are three which i was thinking of looking at    Nissan Leaf 30Kwh BMW i3 Renault Zoe Has anyone any experience of these cars? What are the service costs etc.

  I read that CVTs are the best for my driving, so with my budget and car type it’s a Toyota, Honda or Nissan. Then some CVTs are better than others..... It just seems like I’ll end up buying a manual...... with a soft clutch...

  Hi, Sorry if this has been covered before but I have searched and can't see anything. I'm looking to purchase a new nissan qashqai and have searched local dealerships, dealerships further afield and online. The best prices are with online car supermarkets and brokers... The dealerships just can't match the discounts offered.

  My 2003 Nissan Primera 1.8 SE 5dr has 205/60/R16 tyres with alloy wheels at the moment. I will need to change the tyres at the next MOT (June). I am scrapping my Vauxhall Vectra (after an accident), but the tyres on this car are still good - 1 Michelin, 1 Goodyear and 2 almost new budget tyres.

  This is my first post so please go easy! Whilst on mat leave I have changed my car from a 2014 1.5 dci Nissan qashqai to a new 1.6 ntec dci Xtrail. The problem I have is that I have four lovely 16 inch rims with winter tyres from my Qashqai I am guessing wont work with my xtrail. It takes either a 17 or 19 inch tyre as the norm.

  We've got a 52 plate Nissan Micra SVE and its not starting up. This has happened the second time in past week or so. The first time I jump started it and it started working. But yesterday I left it for jump start for at least 10 minutes but nothing is happening.

  Looking for advice about Nissan Micra DCI I went to test drive. Took one for a spin around town it was fine. Before deciding to buy it I took a trip up the motorway and when it reached 70mph I noticed white smoke in the rear view mirror then it cut out.

  Nissan x trail, 2009 tekna 20.000 miles so still quite unused. I have owned it about 3 months now. it is from a dealership so it is under warranty. I just parked the car up a few hours ago no prob and when i returned to it, i unlocked it, sat in with keys near, pressed the clutch as usual and the switch wouldnt turn, as i tried to turn it, it made a click noise and the green key icon flashed but the switch wouldnt turn.

  Insurance company has already written it off due to there estimate of repairs being miore than car's worth. Nissan Microa Profile 'V' 1999, 75K on the clock good condition. What would be the best outcome to accept? Would it be to accept the car valuation given by the insurance company and do the repairs myself to get it on the road again.

  I managed to have fitted a smooth adjustable rear shock (Nitron) to my Yamaha 850 Motorcycle which works a miracle but is there anything like that available for the Nissan Micra?  I'd be glad of some expert advice. Thanks

  As the spare key does not work I am unable to open all the doors which it says is required to go through the re-programming procedure for the keys. Can anyone help please before I am left with having to tow the car to the Nissan Garage and pay them?
• Nissan Almera Tino (2000 - 2006) - 01 2.2 constant engine rattle 1 Feb 2011 (Forum)
  The engine is a 2.2 Turbo Diesel DOHC 16V (YD22DDTi) I think the noise is coming from the vacuum pump on the right hand side of the cyl. head. My Nissan Dealer has quoted me £615 for this pump alone, no joke! I can get a 2nd hand engine for £750 on ebay. Has anyone had a similar problem and managed to get away with just replacing the cam sprocket and chain.

    I am otherwise well pleased with this car which has only done about 15,000 miles. My Nissan dealer tried to find it without luck, even after 3 days random test starts.  I have even recorded the noise so at least they recognise it is a genuine problem. I'd be very grateful for any ideas, and especially if anyone else has/had the same problem.

  I have a Nissan X Trail, 56 reg. 2.2 Dci Aventura running on 215/60R17 96H Dunlop ST20 Grandtreks on alloys. I am considering buying a set of winter tyres with steel rims to use for the winter period. If you could help with the following I would be grateful.

  We have a Nissan Almera 1.5SE 5 door which has been faultless to drive and run over the last 4 years of ownership. BUT the doors on the nearside have recently started playing up, by that I mean staying locked even when unlocked by central locking, and refusing to open.
